MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy Promises Water Solutions for Farmers
Siddipet: Farmers in Komuravelli mandal are facing a severe water crisis. To help them, Bhuvanagiri MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy has promised immediate steps to refill local water bodies.
During his visit to the Tapaspalli reservoir on Wednesday, Mr. Reddy saw the difficulties farmers are facing. Water levels have gone down, ponds have dried up, and groundwater is scarce. This has made irrigation very difficult. He explained that the problem is due to the lack of water release into the reservoir in recent times.
To solve this issue, the MP assured farmers that water would be released from Dharmasagar and Bommakuru reservoirs. He also promised to speak with Irrigation Department officials to fix any problems in pumping water into the reservoir. In addition, he said he would regularly meet with farmers and officials to find long-term solutions for water security.
Mr. Reddy also asked officials to visit Arjun Patta and Kamalayapalli villages in Cheryala mandal. He wants them to check the water problems there and take necessary steps to help. His efforts show a strong commitment to ensuring enough water for both farming and drinking during the dry season.
Farmers, who are struggling with the crisis, welcomed his promises. However, they remain hopeful that these measures will be implemented quickly to bring relief.
