In a press meet following the visit, MP Mallu Ravi shared inspiring words with the students. He highlighted the improved facilities in Kasturba Gandhi Schools, emphasizing that they are three times better than what was available during his own schooling years, a time when resources were scarce. He encouraged students to make the most of these opportunities, stating, “I studied in a SW school and rose to the positions of MLA and MP. Similarly, you can also achieve great heights with hard work and dedication.”

Ravi advised students to focus on their studies, strive for government recognition, and work towards building a better society. He also encouraged them to bring pride to their parents, village, and community through their achievements.

The MP announced a significant initiative to improve education in the region. He committed ₹5 crore from Parliamentary funds for the development of SW schools across three districts. This investment aims to enhance the facilities and infrastructure of these institutions. Additionally, he unveiled plans for a ₹150 crore integrated building in Wanaparthy. This state-of-the-art facility will be built to international standards and will accommodate approximately 2,500 students, ensuring they face no difficulties in accessing quality education.

Ravi also criticized the previous government for neglecting the education sector and burdening the State with financial debt. He acknowledged the challenges faced by the current government but assured that efforts are being made to gradually improve educational facilities.

MLA Tudi Mega Reddy echoed these sentiments, criticizing the BRS administration for ignoring Kasturba Gandhi and Gurukul schools for over a decade. He credited the current Chief Minister’s leadership for initiating steps to address these concerns. Reddy assured the students of continuous support, promising to resolve any issues and provide all necessary resources. He urged the students to excel in their studies, achieve higher positions, and bring glory to Wanaparthy.

The event was attended by several notable figures, including DCCB chairman Vishnuvardhan Reddy, municipal chairman Pootpakala Mahesh, former PCC delegate Shankar Prasad, MPPs Kichcha Reddy and Shankar Naik, councillors, single window director Madhusudan Reddy, minority leader Rahim, KGBV officer Subhalakshmi, and teachers. Their presence further reinforced the commitment to improving education in the region.
