Special Action Plan for Students and Mid-Day Meal Scheme in Gadwal
A special plan has been introduced in Gadwal to support 10th-grade students and improve the mid-day meal scheme. District Employment Officer Dr. Y.M. Priyanka shared that motivational classes are being organized and school meal programs are being reviewed as part of this initiative.
On Tuesday, career guidance and motivational sessions were held for students in grades 10 and 12. These were conducted at KGBV School in Gattu Mandal and TGSWRS/JCG in Manopad, as per the instructions of the District Collector. Students were taught how to prepare effectively for SSC exams and were given tips for success. Dr. Priyanka highlighted the importance of gaining skills alongside education. She encouraged students to focus on expertise in various fields, which could lead to self-employment opportunities if government jobs are not available.
After the session, Dr. Priyanka joined the students for a community meal. During her visit, she inspected the school to ensure cleanliness and checked the quality of food served under the mid-day meal scheme. She urged the teachers to maintain high standards in both education and hygiene to benefit the students.
Dr. Priyanka, along with DCPO Officer Narasimhulu, also reviewed the daily operations of the mid-day meal program and the slip test monitoring process in the schools.
The program saw participation from several officials, including MPDO Chennayya, MEO Nallareddy, DCPO Narasimhulu, KGBV Principal Gunti Gopilatha, and TGSWRS Principal.
