A total of 41,533 students were allocated seats during Phase II of Degree Online Services, Telangana (DOST) for the current academic year. This online admission process allows students to choose their degree programs.

The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TCHE) announced that 41,533 candidates have been allocated seats in Phase II. This includes students from both Phase I and Phase II who were given the opportunity to improve their seat allocation through web options.

Out of the total, 29,706 students received seat allocations in Phase II based on their preferences. 28,838 got their first choice, while 12,695 were assigned based on their second preferences. However, 3,270 students did not receive a seat due to limited options.

Students who were allocated seats are required to visit the DOST website to reserve their seats by paying the fee. Those allotted government degree and university colleges eligible for fee reimbursement do not need to pay to reserve their seats. Failure to report between July 8 to 12 will result in the loss of the seat.

Candidates must report to the allotted college between July 8 and 12, including Phase III candidates, or risk losing their seats. Phase III registration begins on June 19 and ends on July 2. Web options can be submitted until July 7.

Commerce was the most popular stream selected by students during Phase II, followed by physical sciences, life sciences, arts, D pharmacy, and others. Students can choose three subjects out of four options offered by the college within their chosen faculty or stream.
