Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao expressed his gratitude to the farmers for their contribution to the state’s development by depositing Rs. 643 crore into their accounts on Monday. The farmers were delighted to receive messages about the amount being credited to their mobile phones. At the same time, the Telangana government deposited funds into their accounts and brought happiness to them. The farmers were overjoyed to see the messages showing the amount being credited to their accounts. They thanked Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao wholeheartedly. He performed a ceremonial milk pouring ritual on the crop fields.
On Monday, which was also the first day of the 11th Rythu Bandhu scheme, 22.55 lakh farmers in the state received Rs. 642.52 crore in their accounts. Agriculture Minister Nirajan Reddy informed that the amount was credited to the accounts of farmers who own one acre of land or more. Every day, farmers receive the amount in their accounts as part of the Rythu Bandhu scheme. Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao expressed his gratitude to Finance Minister Harish Rao for coordinating the funds for the farmers. He appointed Minister Harish Rao as the head of the agricultural development program, giving it top priority. As part of this, on the first day of the scheme, the Chief Minister credited Rs. 4 lakh for every four acres of land to 1.5 lakh farmers.
Intensive agricultural activities are currently underway due to the beginning of the monsoon season. The government has started intensive agricultural activities across the state. The government has registered 11.36 lakh acres of agricultural and horticultural land so far this season. Out of this, 7.18 lakh acres have been registered for horticulture and 4.18 lakh acres for agriculture. The highest area of cultivation has taken place in 3.24 lakh acres, with cotton being grown on 29,056 acres. Rice has been cultivated on 16,408 acres, soybeans on 8,840 acres, and maize on 7,525 acres.
Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao is the guardian deity of farmers. In this season, he has started giving double the amount to farmers in the Yadadri district. Many debts have been cleared without any interest. Farmers are now able to cultivate crops and manage their financial burdens. I will always remember Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao in my life.
