Mahabubnagar MLA Focuses on Development and Public Service

Speaking to the media on Sunday, the MLA highlighted his accessibility to the public. He mentioned that his approach aligns with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s slogan, “We are servants, not rulers,” and stressed his commitment to resolving people’s issues.

Srinivas Reddy shared some of the initiatives he has undertaken. These include the construction of restrooms at the Government B.Ed. College, funded by contributions from party leaders and workers. Additionally, he organized a cleanup drive at the Ramireddygudem Social Welfare Residential School, which involved over 100 volunteers, local leaders, and heavy machinery.

The MLA also announced plans to conduct voluntary work every Sunday at government schools, colleges, and offices to address local concerns. He encouraged others to join these efforts to improve the community.

Discussing the municipality’s potential upgrade to a municipal corporation, Srinivas Reddy explained that this transition would allow the region to access more funds and resources from the state and central governments. He revealed that the Chief Minister is already working on the necessary framework to make this happen.

He noted that he is collaborating with BJP leaders to secure additional central government funds. If Mahabubnagar becomes a corporation, Reddy said, it would receive substantial financial support, enabling development projects that could elevate the town to the level of other municipal corporations.

The MLA also praised the progress made in Mahabubnagar since his election. He highlighted the improved working conditions for government officials, stating that they can now operate without fear. According to him, development funds are being allocated more efficiently, and projects are being implemented more quickly due to increased coordination and frequent meetings.

“For the first time, officials are working without fear, and development funds have been allocated more efficiently,” Reddy said. He described these changes as positive steps for the town’s growth.

The event was attended by Granthalaya Chairman Mallu Narsimha Reddy, DCC General Secretary Siraj Khadri, and other leaders, who supported the MLA’s initiatives and vision for Mahabubnagar’s future.
