MLA Pailla Shekar Reddy has made serious allegations against Bhuvanagiri MLA Paila Shekar Reddy. He claimed that illegal assets were found during a three-day investigation at his residence and offices, and that officials did not produce a single document from their possession. He also alleged that officials conducted raids with preconceived notions. He stated that it took three days for the complete verification of the assets. He mentioned that there are family members and children in the house, and it is appropriate to conduct investigations for three days.
In Hyderabad, a grand welcome was given to MLA Paila Shekar Reddy by BJP leaders after his release from the IT raids on Sunday. Massive rallies were organized. He addressed the gathering at the Emelye Camp office. A total of 70 IT notices were issued. IT officials were shocked as they expected to find a lot in these raids. They clarified that the investigations were completed within a day, and they went for clarifications on other matters. IT officials assured that they provided clear answers to the questions raised and cooperated in all matters.
It was clarified that phones were confiscated for three days and lockers were opened. It was informed that news about conducting investigations at his uncle Mohan Reddy’s house was false. It was revealed that he had business interests in South Africa, and there was negative publicity in the media and social media about such businesses which were not true. Some people had attempted to damage his image. MLA Paila Shekar Reddy is the district president of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Oil Fed Chairman Kancharl Ramakrishna Reddy, District Library Institution Chairman Jadal Amarendra Reddy, and Raitu Samanvaya Samithi District President Kolpula Amarendra participated in the event.
