MLA Megha Reddy Announces Extra Funds for Journalists’ Welfare
Wanaparthy: Local MLA Megha Reddy has announced an additional budget of Rs 7 lakh for the welfare of journalists. He made this statement on Sunday while attending an event organized by the Pebbair Press Club.
The president of the club, G Balavardhan, along with other members, honored the MLA for his support and for sanctioning funds for the club. The Pebbair Press Club has been operating for 30 years and is the first press club in the unified district.
Speaking to the media, MLA Megha Reddy noted that the club building is currently in a poor condition. To help complete the new building, he promised an additional Rs 7 lakh on top of the Rs 5 lakh already sanctioned. He also stated that once the construction is finished, he will personally inaugurate the new club.
