Mahabubnagar: Devarakadra MLA and District Congress Committee (DCC) President G Madhusudan Reddy (GMR) held a press conference at the DCC office in Mahabubnagar on Monday. During the event, he criticized BRS leaders for their verbal attacks on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He emphasized that the Congress government has now begun a “real people’s governance,” which is helping every eligible citizen through its “6 guarantees” scheme.
MLA Reddy accused BRS leaders of trying to disrupt the Congress government by raising “petty issues.” He suggested that the BRS leaders were upset because they couldn’t accept the success of new programs that support farmers, women, and the poor. “We won’t tolerate their baseless accusations and will respond firmly,” Reddy added.
Reddy also praised Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for his dedication. He mentioned that despite being busy with a campaign in Maharashtra, the CM completed a 150-kilometer journey to visit Kurumurthy Rayu. Additionally, Reddy announced a special fund of Rs 110 crore for the Kurumurthy temple, stating that Mahabubnagar would be given special attention for development under the new Congress government.
The MLA went on to criticize the BRS government for its actions over the past 10 years. He claimed that the previous government put Telangana in debt. Now, according to Reddy, the Congress government is working hard to overcome these challenges by successfully balancing welfare and development projects. He concluded by taking a jab at BRS leaders Harish Rao and KT Rama Rao, suggesting they might need “government treatment” to handle their frustration over Congress’s achievements.
