MLA Thanks CM for Metro Rail Extension in North Zone
MLA Sri Ganesh has expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for the decision to extend the Metro Rail Corridor to the North Zone. He called it a New Year’s gift for the people in the area. The new metro line will connect Paradise to Medchal and JBS to Shamirpet, offering better public transportation for residents.
Sri Ganesh highlighted that the Congress government in Telangana is focusing on developing the Cantonment constituency. He criticized the previous Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government for ignoring the North Zone during its ten years in power.
The MLA also reminded everyone that the groundwork for the Hyderabad Metro Rail was started during an earlier Congress government. He praised the current government for continuing this progress. Within a year of taking office, the Congress government has already initiated key projects, including building an elevated corridor and expanding the Rajiv Gandhi Highway to ease traffic in the North Zone.
Sri Ganesh expressed confidence that the proposed 45-kilometer metro line will help reduce traffic problems in the Cantonment area. On behalf of the residents, he thanked Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for making this important decision to improve public transportation in the region.
