Hanamkonda: Wardhannapet MLA KR Nagaraju announced on Wednesday that special plans are being created and implemented to ensure the development of merged villages. He was accompanied by Mayor Gundu Sudha Rani as they laid the foundation for CC roads and drainage works in several areas, including Vangapahad, Gundla Singaram, Bhagat Singh Nagar, Vijayalakshmi Colony, and Pegadapalli. These projects, worth ₹3.31 crore, are being funded under the Smart City initiative.
The MLA emphasized that under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the State is progressing steadily in both development and welfare programs, similar to two wheels of a cart working in harmony. He highlighted that initiatives like Indiramma houses, ration cards, and Aarogyasri health cards for the underprivileged, which were prominent during the previous Congress government, are being revived.
Nagaraju also mentioned that the government has chosen one town and one village as part of a pilot project to distribute digital ration and health cards. He assured residents of his constituency that they could report any issues directly to him through the “Dial Your MLA” service by calling 8096107107. He promised to address their concerns as quickly as possible.
Before the event began, the MLA paid tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar by offering floral garlands to his statue.
