The Telangana Minority Finance Corporation (TSFC) has changed the venue for the distribution of minority relief cheques. The event will now take place at L B Stadium on August 19th. Around 4,000 minority beneficiaries in Hyderabad will receive cheques, and an additional 6,000 minorities from different districts across the state will receive cheques from local MLAs. The first phase aims to distribute 10,000 cheques.
Recipients who have received notification from the offices of the Minority Finance Corporations or the District Minority Welfare Officers (DMWs) are urged to visit the respective offices and verify their names. The government plans to provide relief cheques to a total of 40,000 minority individuals, with an allocated budget of Rs 400 crore.
In the first week of September, an additional 10,000 minorities will receive relief cheques. Imtiaz Ishaq, the TSFC Chairman, calls upon the minority communities, particularly the Muslim population, to be patient and cooperate with the staff facilitating the relief distribution.
Furthermore, logistical arrangements have been finalized for the distribution of 25,000 sewing machines among minority women. This initiative aims to empower minority women and promote sustainable growth within the community.
