Hyderabad: The State government has renewed the contracts of about 3,000 Contract Residential Teachers (CRTs) working in Tribal Welfare Residential Schools across the State. This decision was announced on Monday.
The move came after Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy approved the renewal of these contracts. The decision was influenced by the efforts of Panchayatraj Minister Seethakka, who highlighted the importance of retaining these teachers.
During a meeting with the Chief Minister at the Assembly premises, Minister Seethakka explained how a delay in renewing the contracts could negatively affect the education of students in these schools. She emphasized the significant impact it would have on the students’ futures.
After considering the situation, the Chief Minister agreed to the proposal, ensuring that the education of thousands of students in Tribal Welfare Schools would not be disrupted.
