Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy Launches Key Development Projects in Yellandu

Minister for Revenue and Housing, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, initiated several development projects in Yellandu on Sunday to improve public welfare. One of the major projects is a new government hospital at JK Colony, which will have 100 beds and cost ₹35 crore. This hospital is expected to enhance healthcare services in the region.

In addition to the hospital, the Minister inaugurated other infrastructure projects across the constituency. These include new housing units under a state initiative in Pubelli and newly paved roads in Boi Thanda and Rompedu, which will benefit remote tribal settlements.

Focus on Social Welfare and Transparency

Speaking at an event in Pubelli, the Minister highlighted the government’s commitment to providing essential services such as healthcare, education, and housing. He criticized the previous administration for neglecting these basic needs over the last ten years.

Despite financial challenges, the government is currently building 4.5 lakh homes under its housing scheme, prioritizing the most underprivileged families. The Minister assured that the allocation process is transparent and that efforts are being made to speed up construction.

Officials and Community Leaders Participate

The event was attended by several district officials, including Collector Jitesh V. Patil and Superintendent of Police B. Rohith Raju, along with other dignitaries.

Through these projects, the government aims to improve living conditions, strengthen infrastructure, and enhance healthcare services in Yellandu, reinforcing its commitment to the region’s development.
