Six Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLAs from Hyderabad met with state Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu at the Secretariat. This meeting has sparked political speculation, especially after six BRS MLCs recently joined the Congress party.
The MLAs said they met with the Minister to request funds for development and approvals for projects in their constituencies. The six MLAs are KP Vivekanand, Sudheer Reddy, Madhavaram Krishna Rao, Arekapudi Gandhi, Marri Rajashekhar Reddy, and Banda Laxma Reddy.
During the meeting, the BRS MLAs asked for funds for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), pointing out that since the Congress government took office, GHMC has not received any funds.
Minister Sridhar Babu, who is also the Rangareddy district incharge Minister, assured the MLAs that regardless of political affiliations, the State government would work on development projects in all constituencies. He also promised to address all the issues raised by the BRS MLAs.
