    Hyderabad: State IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu has introduced a new internship programme called ‘Skill Sprint.’ This programme is a joint initiative by T-Works and Young India Skills University. Its primary goal is to help students and unemployed youth develop job-ready skills and bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry needs. The poster for the programme was officially unveiled on Thursday at the Secretariat.

    Speaking about the initiative, Sridhar Babu said, “We are dedicated to making Telangana a hub for highly skilled human resources. By reducing the gap between educational institutions and industries, we aim to provide the youth of Telangana with the skills they need for employment and industry readiness.”

    The ‘Skill Sprint’ programme is a 90-day internship that offers specialized training in various fields. These include Engineering, Robotics, Management, Sales, Business Development, and Marketing. Students currently pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate degrees in these areas are eligible to apply for the programme.

    The Minister highlighted that this initiative will empower students to meet industry expectations while fostering innovation and self-reliance.
