Peddapalli: After the formation of Telangana state, there have been revolutionary changes in the healthcare sector, said Minister for Social Welfare Koppula Eshwar. The government has introduced various services to provide quality healthcare to patients. With a budget of Rs. 5.25 crores, a diagnostic hub and a dialysis center worth Rs. 5 crores have been inaugurated in Peddapalli district.
During a conversation about this, the minister mentioned that the government is setting up medical colleges in every district to ensure better healthcare facilities for the people. Nursing colleges, mother and child health centers, dialysis centers within the scope of employment are being established in each district to provide free services to the public. Special vehicles have been procured to transport samples to district centers for examination in sub-centers of primary health centers.
It has been reported that a mother and child hospital and a dialysis center have been inaugurated in Peddapalli, costing one crore rupees each. The physiotherapy center and psychological medical treatments have also been made available. The program was attended by Jaddi Chairman Madhukar, District Collector Dr. S. Sangetha Satyanarayana, and Peddapalli MLA Dasari Manohar Reddy. Later, Girijanulaku Podu Pattalu were sent to the Integrated District Collectorate in Peddapalli.
The government’s initiative to improve healthcare facilities in Telangana state has been widely appreciated. The establishment of medical colleges and various healthcare centers in each district shows the commitment of the government towards providing quality healthcare services to the people.
