Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has instructed the Municipal Commissioner to demolish the BRS party office in Nalgonda town because it was built without permission.
The Minister visited Nalgonda district headquarters on Saturday to lay the foundation stone for a new Municipal Council Hall. During the visit, he ordered the Commissioner and Additional Collector to take action against the unauthorized BRS party office.
Komatireddy emphasized that BRS district president Ravindra Kumar should be given a notice and that the office must be demolished by August 11, before his return from America. He also directed the Additional Collector to file a case against the Municipal Commissioner if the demolition is not carried out, and to consider sending him to jail if necessary.
Municipal Chairman Burri Srinivas Reddy was advised to take responsibility for the demolition if the Commissioner fails to act.
Komatireddy stated that the land was illegally taken over by the previous BRS government and stressed the urgency of demolishing the party office.
Additionally, engineering officials were instructed to prepare a report for constructing a water tank with a capacity of 20 lakhs to supply fresh water to nearby colonies. The Additional Collector was also ordered to take steps to build a Sri Nidhi building and establish full-fledged government offices in the area.
