Wanaparthy: Minister Jupally Krishna Rao recently toured Chinnambavi Mandal in Wanaparthy district to check the progress of irrigation projects. His visit included an inspection of the Chinnamar Mini Lift Irrigation Scheme and the Jurala canals to evaluate their status and effectiveness.
During the visit, the minister held discussions with local officials and project engineers. He addressed the challenges delaying the projects and stressed the need for timely completion. According to him, these efforts are essential to ensure farmers receive adequate water for their agricultural needs.
“These projects play a key role in increasing agricultural productivity and providing water to remote areas. We are committed to overcoming any issues and meeting the deadlines,” the minister said.
Farmers in the region shared their hopes that the minister’s visit would speed up the pending works and resolve their irrigation issues. Meanwhile, authorities assured that steps would be taken to improve water distribution through the ongoing schemes.
