Karimnagar: The Telangana state government has faced criticism for canceling the free electricity supply for farmers in the state. Minister Gangula Kamalakar, the head of the State Electricity and Environment Department, announced the cancellation of the BRS category for power supply in Telangana Chowk on Tuesday. PCC chief Revanth Reddy expressed his outrage by burning an effigy. Congress members also raised their voices against the decision. In response, Minister Kamalakar accused Revanth Reddy of echoing Chandrababu’s words and said that both the guru and the disciple continue to harbor hatred towards Telangana.

It has been reported that farmers have committed suicide in the state after the Congress government provided only three hours of electricity. The Congress government has been accused of not fulfilling its promise to provide three hours of uninterrupted electricity to farmers. The Congress, which is demanding three seats, has been criticized for not fulfilling its promises to the farmers. They have also been accused of causing power shortages in Telangana to benefit neighboring states. The Congress’ actions have sparked protests among the farmers in Telangana.

The Congress’ interference in Karnataka, where they sought legal action against the state government for supplying electricity to Telangana without any hindrance, has been noted. Karnataka’s objection to power supply has caused a lot of resentment. The Congress has accused the BJP of providing meters to agricultural motors instead of providing free electricity. After the formation of Telangana, there has been a significant reduction in farmer suicides. Farmers believe that providing 24 hours of free electricity is essential for the nation’s progress, but Chief Minister KCR refuses to acknowledge this.

Farmers in the country are celebrating their agriculture as festivals. To ensure that farmers are able to live with dignity, a scheme has been implemented that includes support for farmers, crop insurance, free electricity, Kaleshwaram project, and Mission Kakatiya. The government is implementing various farmer welfare programs to provide relief to farmers in distress. The Minister has informed that schemes like Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima, free electricity, Kaleshwaram, and Mission Kakatiya are being implemented by the government.
