Minister credits CM KCR for Ramappa temple's inclusion in UNESCO World Heritage list

The Ramappa temple in Mulugu district is now a UNESCO World Heritage site, thanks to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s efforts. Minister for Tourism V Srinivas Goud announced this on Tuesday. The State Heritage department has partnered with the Deccan Heritage Academy to prepare the necessary documents for the Mudumul heritage structure located in Narayanpet district. The Deccan Heritage Academy will submit these documents to UNESCO to seek recognition of the World Heritage site tag.

Srinivas Goud highlighted that Telangana has many heritage sites and monuments, and the Chief Minister is working towards preserving them. He also mentioned that the Ramappa temple in Mulugu district received recognition as a world heritage site due to the Chief Minister’s efforts.

The signing of the MoU was attended by Deccan Heritage Academy chairman Vedakumar, Telangana Heritage Department Deputy Director Ramulu Nayak, and others.
