A new and convenient ticketing system has been introduced for Hyderabad Metro Rail users. This service was launched by Route Mobile Limited, a company that provides cloud communication services, in partnership with Billeasy E Solutions Private Limited.
According to Metro officials, the system uses Rich Communication Services (RCS) and Google Wallet to make booking e-tickets easier for commuters. With this, passengers can book tickets, store them in Google Wallet, and access them through multiple channels.
To use this service, commuters need to scan a QR code and send a “hi” message through Google Messages to the official L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad account. They will then be guided to choose their starting point, destination, and the type of ticket they want.
Payments can be made securely through options like UPI, and users will receive instant confirmation. Once the ticket is booked, it is saved directly in Google Wallet, allowing easy access from their phone. Currently, the service is available for Android users.
