    Male candidates from Telangana have secured the top ranks in the Group-II services recruitment exam. The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) released the general ranking list (GRL) on Tuesday.

    The announcement came after a meeting led by TGPSC Chairman Burra Venkatesham. The Commission published the GRL for 2,36,649 candidates and uploaded the final key on its official website (https://www.tspsc.gov.in/). Additionally, candidates’ OMR sheet images were made available online.

    Men dominated the top 10 ranks. Naru Venkata Harshavardhan from multi-zone-I secured the first position with 447.088 out of 600 marks. Vadlakonda Sachin from multi-zone-I and B Manohar Rao from multi-zone-II secured the second and third ranks, respectively. Among women, Lakkireddy Vinisha Reddy from multi-zone-II ranked highest at 32nd place with 408.713 marks, followed by Baikadi Susmitha from multi-zone-I at 41st rank.

    Officials reported that 5,51,855 candidates had registered for the Group-II exam, which covered four subjects: General Studies and General Ability, History, Polity and Society, Economy and Development, and Telangana Movement and State Formation. A total of 2,57,981 candidates appeared for the test, which took place on December 15 and 16, 2024. However, the Commission invalidated 13,315 candidates. The TGPSC had announced 783 Group-II vacancies across 18 departments.
