In his letter, Minister Rajanarsimha highlighted the importance of G-SPARC 2024. He emphasized that the conference comes at a crucial time when pandemics, infections, and Anti-Microbial Resistance (AMR) pose significant challenges.

The Minister pointed out that bacterial AMR was responsible for 1.27 million deaths worldwide in 2019. He stressed how this issue impacts healthcare systems and modern medicine. Rajanarsimha called for urgent action to prevent these avoidable deaths. He urged participants to focus deeply on these issues during the three-day conference.

Minister Rajanarsimha invited healthcare workers to take part in the discussions. He encouraged them to use this opportunity to innovate and collaborate on improving practices, preventing pandemics, and reducing infections.

The Minister expressed his hope that the conference would lead to a healthier, more resilient world. The G-SPARC 2024 organizing committee thanked the Minister for his support. They are looking forward to working with the Telangana government to make the conference a significant event in the fight against AMR and infections in the global south.
