The Telangana State Haj Committee is working to make sure the 2024 Haj camp in Hyderabad runs smoothly for pilgrims. A coordination meeting was held at the Haj Committee, with Shaik Liyakath Hussain, Executive Officer, welcoming officials and praising their work. He noted that Telangana has a good reputation in the country thanks to their cooperation.
Irfan Shareef, Assistant Executive Officer, led the meeting and emphasized the need for all departments to work together for a successful Haj camp. He asked Saudi Airlines to ensure no flight delays and provide all necessary amenities for the pilgrims. This year, over 11,000 pilgrims will depart from Hyderabad to Madina for Haj 2024.
Tafseer Iqbal instructed GMR to provide adequate services at the Haj Terminal and stressed the importance of departments working as a team. He highlighted the need to ensure comfort and convenience for pilgrims on their sacred journey. Officials from various departments like Customs, CISF, Saudi Airlines, and others attended the meeting to discuss arrangements for the upcoming Haj camp.
Representatives from GMR, Customs, Immigration, CISF, BCAS, Saudi Airlines, IPM, Princess Esra Hospital, Fire Service, RTC, PWD, GHMC, BSNL, police, and traffic police were present at the meeting to plan for the smooth departure and arrival of Haj pilgrims in Hyderabad.
