Mayor Focuses on Local Issues and City Development in Hyderabad
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Mayor, Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, highlighted the need to address local problems and improve city infrastructure during her visit to Miyapur, Chandanagar, and Serilingampally on Tuesday. She was accompanied by MLA Arikapudi Gandhi and GHMC officials.
The Mayor inspected key areas, including Makta Pedakudi Tank, Patel Tank outlet, and Gopi Tank. She urged officials to focus on resolving urgent issues in these locations to benefit the community.
At Makta Pedakudi Tank, Vijayalakshmi expressed dissatisfaction with the poor sanitation conditions. She noted that garbage and construction waste were not being managed properly and directed immediate cleaning efforts to improve the area’s hygiene.
In addition, the Mayor called for prompt repairs at Vishweshwara Colony and Lingampalli vegetable market. She also instructed officials to speed up the beautification work at GHMC Memory Garden Park to enhance its appeal for residents.
The Mayor looked into improving water management at Gopi Cheruvu and other nearby areas. She encouraged residents to report problems directly for quicker solutions and assured them of her active involvement in addressing their concerns.
Through her visit, Vijayalakshmi demonstrated her commitment to addressing local issues and ensuring the city’s development progresses efficiently.
