Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi will be attending the 9th World Cities Conference in Singapore from June 2 to 4. She was invited by the Singapore Consul General, Edgar Pang.
The World Cities Summit (WCS) is a platform for Mayors, entrepreneurs, and urban experts to discuss solutions for livable and sustainable cities. The Singapore delegation has asked Mayor Vijayalakshmi to share her suggestions on improving cities.
At the WCS, topics such as livable cities, rejuvenation, smart cities, and better city life will be discussed with Mayors and business leaders. The focus will be on creating partnerships and solutions for sustainable urban development.
Mayor Vijayalakshmi highlighted GHMC’s efforts to make Hyderabad a top city for living, with infrastructure developments and social and economic schemes. The event was attended by Singapore Vice Consul Member Nicole Chen and others.
