The BRS party is holding a public meeting in Kandar Loha, Maharashtra on Sunday and has high hopes for its success. Party leaders have been working hard to mobilize people from the Marathwada region to attend the meeting, and claim that several people from various political parties will join the pink party. The meeting will be held at Bail Bazar Ground in Loha, and is expected to be a historical event as many leaders, including four ex-MLAs, are slated to join the party. Local leaders, former NCP MLA Shankar Anna Ghondge, former MLA from Aurangabad Harshvardhan Jadhav, former MLA Nagnath Jasewada, and Sarpanchas from several districts are also expected to join the BRS on Sunday. This is the second public meeting of the party in Maharashtra after the Nanded meeting in February this year. Kandar Loha is a backward area in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra where people have been demanding the Telangana model of development and are attracted to the welfare schemes being implemented there. Armoor MLA A Jeevan Reddy said that the Maharashtra government had allocated Rs 6,000 crore for farmers after the BRS held its public meeting in Nanded.
