The General Manager of South-Central Railway (SCR), Arun Kumar Jain, awarded 12 employees for their alertness and dedication to their duties. The awards were given during a virtual safety review meeting. Three employees from Secunderabad division, four from Vijayawada, three from Guntakal, and one each from Nanded and Guntur received the awards. These employees, including loco pilots, station masters, technicians, points men, key/gate men, and track maintainers, showed alertness and took timely action to prevent unsafe conditions.
Arun Kumar Jain believes that these awards will motivate other employees to work diligently and prioritize safety. This will contribute to the safe operation of trains. In addition to presenting the awards, Jain conducted a detailed review meeting to discuss the safety and punctuality of train operations across the zone. He emphasized the importance of planning maintenance works that cause minimal inconvenience to passengers.
Jain also instructed the team to focus on ensuring the punctuality of MMTS trains, especially during peak hours. This effort aims to benefit suburban passengers in the twin city region. The senior officer at SCR shared these details about the review meeting and Jain’s directives.
