    Man Arrested for Setting Bikes on Fire at Malakpet Metro Station

    A man was arrested by the Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force team and the Chaderghat police for allegedly setting bikes on fire at Malakpet metro station. The incident occurred on Friday and caused damage to multiple vehicles.

    The suspect was identified as Zaker, a resident of Moosanagar in Chaderghat. According to the police, Zaker is reportedly dealing with mental health issues. He went to the metro station on Friday afternoon, where he used a matchbox to set a bike on fire. The flames quickly spread to other bikes nearby, resulting in five vehicles being completely burned.

    To investigate the case, police reviewed footage from surveillance cameras in the area. The footage showed a man, later identified as Zaker, setting the bike on fire. Special teams were formed by the Task Force and Chaderghat police to locate the suspect.

    On Sunday, Zaker was taken into custody. Police sources revealed that he had been involved in similar incidents in other parts of the city in the past. Further investigation into the case is ongoing.
