TPCC senior vice-president Mallu Ravi criticized the previous BRS government, saying that ministers had no freedom to work or make decisions independently. A round table meeting was held at the Press Club in Somajiguda, Hyderabad, to demand the revival of the old pension scheme. During the meeting, Congress leader Mallu Ravi accused KCR family members, including former ministers KT Rama Rao and Harish Rao, and MLC Kavitha of misleading the public with false accusations against the State government. He also claimed that the BRS government failed to fulfill many electoral promises, such as clearing fee reimbursement and scholarship dues for jobless youth and students. Mallu Ravi reminded everyone that the BRS party made 86 promises in its election manifesto but didn’t fulfill a single one while in power. He criticized the BRS leaders for calling Congress a “420 party.” Mallu Ravi expressed hope that under the Congress tenure, employees would receive justice regarding the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) as promised by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka. The meeting was attended by TJS president Kodandaram, Intermediate JAC chairman Madhusudan Reddy, and various union leaders.
