Mahabubnagar: Nagam Janardhan Reddy, a senior Congress leader who recently joined BRS party, launched an intense election campaign in Kollapur constituency. He was accompanied by BRS Kollapur candidate Beeram Harshavardhan Reddy. The campaign took place in Vennecherla village of Peddakottapally mandal in Nagarkurnool district.
During the campaign, Nagam was joined by Gauraram Venkat Reddy and Dr Kuruva Vijay Kumar. The leaders went door-to-door and urged the people to vote for the car symbol.
Nagam decided to contest in Kollapur after being denied a ticket from Nagarkurnool. He aims to defeat the Kollapur Congress candidate Jupally Krishna Rao, who is believed to be responsible for Nagam not receiving the ticket.
