In Hyderabad, there are reports that BRS Chief K Chandrashekar Rao is losing control of the party as some leaders, including a few MLAs, are in contact with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. The decision of Pocharam Srinivas Reddy to leave BRS and join the Congress has surprised many party members. Senior leader G Jagadish Reddy expressed disappointment at Pocharam’s choice, questioning why he left BRS after praising KCR multiple times. More leaders are also considering joining the Congress party, with BRS MLA B Lakshma Reddy meeting veteran Congress leader K Jana Reddy.
