Tummanapalli Srinivas, State President of Lok Satta Party, is asking the government to improve school education quality. Even though enrollment rates are high, he says the standards of education need to be better. In a letter to the Chief Minister, Srinivas asked for actions to support students from Telugu medium schools in rural areas.
He also wants more focus on employment sectors and is worried about the money being wasted in government schools. Srinivas thinks spending over Rs 60,000 per student in government schools isn’t helping students enough. He wants the government to fix this problem before the new school year starts.
Srinivas wants all schools in the state to have the right facilities for students to learn properly.
