Nagarkurnool: Recovered Mobile Phones Returned to Owners
On Friday, Nagarkurnool District Superintendent of Police (SP) Gaikwad Vaibhav Raghunath returned 104 recovered mobile phones to their rightful owners during an event held at the SP office. Over the past 15 months, the district police have successfully recovered and returned more than 1,000 lost mobile phones to their owners.
To achieve this, a special team was formed to track and retrieve lost phones. The team included members like IT Core Team lead Vikram, Kalwakurthy Constables Chiranjeevi and Zakir, and Nagarkurnool Constable Gunasekhar. SP Gaikwad praised their efforts and encouraged them to continue their diligent work to recover remaining lost phones.
The event was attended by key officials, including DCRB CI Upender Rao, SB CI Srinivas, IT Core Team Member Vikram, and police personnel from various stations. Their collective efforts were acknowledged during the program.
SP Gaikwad urged the public to report lost phones immediately. He said, “If you lose your mobile phone, lodge a complaint at the police station or on the CEIR portal. With the cooperation of the police, your phone can be recovered.”
This initiative highlights the dedication of the Nagarkurnool police in helping citizens retrieve their lost belongings and reinforces the importance of prompt reporting in such cases.
