The BRS party in Hyderabad has chosen potential candidates for most Lok Sabha constituencies. Some current members may be replaced, with former ministers and MLAs being asked to run in the election.
Sources say the party has almost finalized candidates for many Lok Sabha seats. In Adilabad, former MLA Atram Sakku is likely to be the candidate. Bajireddy Goverdhan is being considered for Nizamabad, currently held by MLC K Kavitha, who may choose to campaign as an MLC instead of running in the Lok Sabha polls.
The party has already selected candidates for some constituencies, with former MP B Vinod Kumar chosen for Karimnagar, G Ranjith Reddy for Chevella, and Nama Nageswara Rao for Khammam. In Peddapally, former MP B Venkatesh Nethakani has left the party, leading to discussions about potential candidates like Koppula Eshwar or B Suman.
In Medak, the party is considering former MLA Ch Madan Reddy or Vanteru Pratap Reddy as candidates. BB Patil is expected to be chosen again for Zaheerabad. For Warangal, names like Aroori Ramesh, Kadiyam Kavya, P Dayakar, and Erolla Srinivas are being considered.
In Mahabubabad, the party may choose A Sitaram Naik as the candidate. In Mahabubnagar, former ministers V Srinivas Goud and Ch Laxma Reddy are potential candidates. For Nagarkurnool, sitting MP P Ramulu may be chosen again.
In Nalgonda, there are several aspirants, including Gutha Sukhender Reddy’s son Amit and T Chinnapa Reddy. For Bhongir, names like Pailla Shekhar Reddy, Jitta Balakrishna Reddy, and Gutha Amit are being discussed.
In the city segments, Talasani Sai Kiran Yadav may be nominated for Secunderabad, while Ch Bhadra Reddy and Shambhipur Raju are potential candidates for Malkajgiri. The party plans to delay announcing the final candidates until after the ruling party announces its choices.
