Telangana BC leaders are heading to Delhi to meet with AICC leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, and K C Venugopal. Some leaders have already left for Delhi, while others who met with AICC (TS) in-charge Manikrao Thakre and PCC chief A Revanth Reddy in Hyderabad will be joining them.
The BC leaders in T Congress are upset about their alleged neglect in ticket allotment for the Assembly elections. They held separate meetings with Thakre and Revanth Reddy to express their concerns. Former MPs Ponnam Prabhakar, Madhu Yashki Goud, PCC working president B Mahesh Kumar Goud, and others met with them to highlight their demand. Former PCC presidents V Hanumantha Rao and PonnalaLakshmaiah also arrived in Delhi on Tuesday. Their demand is for the implementation of a resolution supporting two seats in each Parliamentary segment for BCs. They will be meeting with Kharge, Venugopal, and Rahul Gandhi to discuss this matter.
Some BC leaders are worried about losing party tickets to Reddys who recently joined from BRS. They are requesting that 34-40 seats be allotted to them.
