Dr K Laxman, the BJP OBC Morcha national president and MP, expressed disappointment over the State Governor’s speech in the Telangana Legislative Assembly. He stated that the speech was not realistic and only praised the Congress party. It did not address the state’s problems or provide any clarity. The speech did not mention farmer’s loan waiver or the Rythu Bandhu, raising doubts about how the government would fulfill its promises. Dr Laxman also mentioned the situation in Karnataka where the state road transport corporation struggled to pay salaries due to free travel schemes. He announced that the BJP will wait for 100 days for the government to implement its promises before standing with the people and fighting for them. Dr Laxman also highlighted a recent lockup death incident and compared it to a similar incident during a previous government’s rule.
