KTR's Actions in Response to TSPSC Paper Leak Controversy Diminish Bandi's Influence

The IT Minister of Telangana, KT Rama Rao, has responded to comments made by the Telangana BJP chief, Bandi Sanjay, regarding the TSPSC issue. Rao has warned Sanjay against politicising the issue for his own gain and has assured justice for the unemployed. He has criticized Sanjay’s baseless allegations against the State government, stating that TSPSC is a constitutional body and the government has a limited role to play in its functioning. Rao has accused the BJP of trying to create unrest among unemployed youth by attributing the mistake made by one individual to the entire TSPSC.

Rao has reminded Sanjay that there have been numerous instances of paper leaks in various BJP-ruled states and that the BJP has no moral right to question the BRS government’s commitment to the unemployed. He has highlighted that in Modi’s state of Gujarat, 13 question papers were leaked in eight years. Rao has appealed to the youth and students of Telangana not to worry about recruitment and has assured them that the government will take all measures to ensure justice for every unemployed youth in the state.

Rao has stated that the government has already shown its commitment to the unemployed by filling up more than twice the number of jobs promised. He has also highlighted that the government has brought a new zonal system, unlike anywhere else in the country, with the aim of getting 95% jobs for the youth of Telangana, which is proof of the government’s commitment towards the welfare of youth.

Rao has warned Sanjay that he may face criminal cases in the future for his politically-motivated conspiracies and has urged the BJP to stop politicising the issue for its own selfish gains. He has emphasized that when any issue happens, how the government reacts is important and that the State government acted swiftly in response to the paper leak issue by constituting a SIT and arresting all the accused. He has also noted that keeping in mind the future of all eligible candidates and to deliver justice, TSPSC had cancelled the Group-1 prelims exams.
