    Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao surprised his son and minister KT Rama Rao on his birthday. The CM praised KTR for his efforts in regularizing the services of VRAs and appointing them as government employees based on their qualifications. Orders were issued on KTR’s birthday to recognize his commitment to resolving the VRAs issue.

    The Chief Secretary and Revenue principal Secretary have been asked to issue orders on the occasion of KTR’s birthday. The CM thanked the officials for issuing the orders without any legal issues in the regularization process.

    10,317 VRAs with 10th class qualification will be inducted in Irrigation and Mission Bhagiratha departments. 2,761 Village Assistants, who completed Intermediate education, will become Record Assistants and 3,680 degree holders and above will be Junior Assistants.

    The state Finance department approved these posts. 3,797 VRAs above 61 years of age will be given employment to their children based on their education qualifications. This decision was made to recognize their long service to society.

    The CM expressed concern over the difficult lives of VRAs, who often receive low salaries and sometimes have to beg farmers. He congratulated those who will join their new jobs soon and advised them to work hard and pursue further studies for promotions.
