KTR labels Modi as the least efficient, incapable, and inept Prime Minister

Hyderabad: KT Rama Rao, the working president of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), called Narendra Modi the most inefficient, inept, and incompetent Prime Minister. He demanded an apology from Modi to the people of Telangana for his negative comments about the state. KTR held a press conference at Telangana Bhavan and posed several questions to the PM, demanding answers before his visit to Telangana.

KTR criticized Modi for repeatedly making derogatory remarks about the formation of Telangana, showing a lack of respect for historical facts. He emphasized that the journey to statehood involved countless sacrifices and struggles over many years. He also stated that Telangana did celebrate its statehood, and Modi’s suggestion otherwise is factually incorrect and displays ignorance and arrogance.

KTR accused the Prime Minister and the BJP of harboring hatred towards Telangana. He demanded that Modi apologize to the people of Telangana for continuously insulting their sentiments. KTR predicted that the saffron party would lose deposits in 110 seats.

The BRS leader highlighted the injustice done by the Modi government to the people of Palamuru region. He mentioned that national status was given to projects in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh but ignored the Palamuru Project in Telangana. KTR criticized the Modi government for its lack of interest in resolving the Krishna water dispute, which has caused further injustice to Telangana.

When asked about the rejection of the State government’s proposal to nominate BRS leaders D Sravan Kumar and K Satyanarayana to the Legislative Council, KTR defended the government’s right to nominate individuals of their choice. He criticized the Governor for her attitude, claiming that she was working more like a BJP leader than a Governor. KTR questioned whether there were different rules for national parties and regional parties when it came to nominations.

KTR described Telangana BJP chief G Kishan Reddy as the most unfit Union minister, referring to his failure to complete a flyover construction in his constituency. He dismissed ‘One Nation-One Election’ as a gimmick by the PM to divert attention from core issues. KTR warned that the delimitation issue was a concern for South Indian states and that any attempt to suppress their voice in Parliament would result in an uproar from the South.
