The Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister of Telangana, KT Rama Rao, has stated that the Chief Minister, K Chandrashekhar Rao, has implemented administrative reforms to ensure good governance at every level in the state. This includes reorganizing districts, revenue divisions, and mandals. The Minister inaugurated an orientation programme for newly appointed Ward Officers in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation and praised the CM’s vision for decentralization of administration from the state to village level. Telangana has received the highest number of best Panchayat awards from the union government every year, indicating that this vision is having a positive impact.
According to KTR, the new ward officer administration system in GHMC will help provide more services to the people, and citizens will have easier access to officials to address their grievances.
