KTR faces pressure to repeat Lok Sabha success in Hyderabad

BRS working president KT Rama Rao is leading the party’s campaign in Hyderabad for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He is working hard to replicate the party’s success in the city during the Assembly polls.

While BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao is campaigning through roadshows as part of the bus yatra, KTR is focusing on supporting candidates in three of the four LS segments in Hyderabad. The city has four LS seats – Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Malkajgiri, and Chevella.

The city segments are crucial as BRS had won a majority of seats there in the Assembly elections. The victory margins from these segments helped boost the party’s overall voter percentage, keeping them competitive with the Congress.

KTR’s extensive campaigning for party candidates during the Assembly elections was successful in securing wins for BRS. He is now actively supporting candidates like Ragidi Lakshma Reddy, T Padma Rao Goud, and Kasani Gnaneshwar Mudiraj in Malkajgiri, Secunderabad, and Chevella respectively.

During a recent roadshow in Malkajgiri, Rao emphasized the importance of voting for BRS to ensure Hyderabad becomes a world-class city. He also warned about potential challenges, such as Hyderabad being designated as a Union Territory by the Centre.

As the elections approach on May 13, it will be interesting to see how city voters respond, with results expected on June 4.
