Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao dismissed the claims made by Congress leaders regarding the acquisition of Kamareddy farmers’ lands for various purposes.
During his road shows in Kamareddy and Nizamabad, KTR stated that Chief Minister KCR has no intention of taking land from the people, especially considering his age. In fact, if elected from Kamareddy, it will become the top constituency in the State.
KTR emphasized that it doesn’t matter whether it’s Siddipet or Kamareddy; KCR is a local candidate, and his mother is from Konapur village in the Kamareddy constituency. He also criticized BJP candidate K Venkatramana Reddy for labeling the Chief Minister as a non-local candidate.
BRS working president criticized TPCC president A Revanth Reddy, who is also contesting from Kamareddy, and predicted that he would secure third place in the elections.
KTR assured farmers in Biknoor that they would receive Godavari river water for their fields within a year. He also mentioned a special package for individuals who migrated to Gulf countries for employment, in addition to the insurance coverage promised by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. BRS government plans to provide land titles to all those who own assigned lands after December 3.
KTR highlighted some key points from the BRS party’s manifesto, including life insurance cover for over 93 lakh below poverty line families, superfine rice for all ration card holders, a monthly honorarium for eligible women, an increase in Aasara pension money, affordable gas cylinders, and an increase in Aarogyasri coverage.
