BRS Working President KT Rama Rao has criticized the Congress-led Telangana government for ignoring minorities and not fulfilling the promises made in its Minority Declaration.

Speaking at an Iftar dinner hosted by BRS at Telangana Bhavan during Ramadan, KTR greeted Muslims observing the fast and joined in the prayers.

In his speech, he compared the previous BRS government under K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) with the current Congress administration. He claimed that during KCR’s rule, the government supported all religious festivals and promoted harmony in society.

KTR also pointed out that the BRS government had set up residential schools for minority students and introduced an overseas education scheme that helped minority youth study in countries like the USA and UK. He alleged that after Congress came to power, all these welfare programs were discontinued.
