KTR criticizes CM for private meetings with BJP leaders

BRS working president KT Rama Rao has strongly criticized Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, accusing him of secretly meeting BJP leaders to secure his position.

Taking to social media platform X, KTR alleged that Reddy was engaging in “backdoor politics” while pretending to oppose the BJP in public. He even called Reddy a “Cheap Minister” instead of a Chief Minister and questioned Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s silence on the issue. KTR challenged Rahul Gandhi to take action against Reddy, asking if he had the courage to act against a Congress CM who was secretly dealing with the BJP.

KTR further accused the Congress of practicing “dirty politics” where leaders prioritize their own power over the welfare of the people. He claimed that these secret meetings were part of a larger plan to disrupt Telangana’s progress. According to him, the Congress has a history of creating divisions among people for political survival, and this was just another example of that.

Expressing concern over the state’s issues, KTR pointed out that farmers and students were struggling, yet the CM was not holding important review meetings. Instead, he was making time for secret discussions with BJP leaders. KTR called this an “unpardonable betrayal” of the people of Telangana.

He also referred to recent statements by BJP MLA Raja Singh, which, according to him, exposed Reddy’s secret dealings with the BJP. KTR said that while Reddy pretends to fight the BJP in public, he is actually working with them in the background. He warned that the people of Telangana would not tolerate such politics and would reject both the BJP and Congress, calling them “Delhi-based parties that do not understand Telangana’s interests.”
