When announcing the upcoming openings of IT towers in Siddipet, Nizamabad, and Nalgonda over the next three months, Telangana’s minister of information technology, KT Rama Rao, spoke about the state’s commitment to growing the II-tier city IT sector.
On May 6, the IT Tower in Mahabubnagar was officially opened. While existing IT towers have seen significant progress with companies creating job opportunities for citizens, Following Hyderabad and Mahabubnagar, Warangal is Telangana’s developing IT hub.
According to KTR, who released the IT annual report for 2022–2023, four new businesses—LTI Mindtree, Genpact, HRH Next, and Hexad Solutions Pvt. Ltd.—were established in Hanumakonda alongside the already existing Tech Mahindra, Cyient, and Genpact firms.
Inspired by Telangana’s T-hub, which has been instrumental in promoting ecosystem entrepreneurship in the state while significantly facilitating state government engagements, particularly in Bihar. T-hub has raised $8 million and attracted 75 HNIs as a result of its dedication to working with HAL to support the booming IT industry’s innovation and growth.
The expansion of the IT industry in rural areas with the help of the rural technology policy will boost the local economy and give residents of II-tier cities job opportunities. The integration of IT and E&C will soon drive growth and investment. With Foxconn’s donation of an industrial-grade SMT line to carry up the T-works, soon our state will be seen among the world’s largest prototyping centers.
