    K. T. Rama Rao, the Working President of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), asked the Telangana government to make efforts to attract Tesla to the state. This comes after reports that Tesla is looking for sites in India to build a $2 billion-$3 billion electric car plant.

Rama Rao urged the government to bring Tesla to Telangana by showcasing the state’s progressive industrial policies. He emphasized the importance of ensuring that the Tesla team visits Hyderabad to explore the opportunities available.

Tesla is said to be sending a team to India this month to explore potential locations for their proposed car plant. The Central government recently reduced tariffs on higher-priced imported electric vehicles for companies willing to manufacture them in India within three years.
