In the wake of heavy rains and flooding in Greater Hyderabad, TPCC President A Revant Reddy has made some demands to state Municipal Administration and Urban Development minister KT Rama Rao. Revanth has asked KTR to provide immediate relief of Rs 10,000 to those affected by the heavy rains in Greater Hyderabad. He criticized the government for not taking any measures to rehabilitate the rain-affected communities in low-lying areas of the city.
Revanth also requested the minister to take special measures to support daily laborers who were unable to work due to the heavy rains. Additionally, he urged the minister to repair damaged roads quickly to prevent accidents.
Revanth accused Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and KTR of promoting Hyderabad as a modern city, but in reality, the city is facing severe problems with floodwaters and damaged roads.
