The State government of Hyderabad has launched the ‘Lakes Development Program’ to rejuvenate and originate 50 HO bodies in and around the urban center. Of the 50 lakes, 25 are located within the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits and the remaining 25 are in the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) limits.
